  Fort Hunter Mansion and Park offers a glimpse of 19th century Pennsylvania life. Becoming a Friend of Fort Hunter will add immeasurably to your enjoyment of this beautiful, historical estate.

  Friends of Fort Hunter have unique opportunities to participate in events that showcase decades of Fort Hunter's history. Friends can experience connection with the past residents of the mansion, as they learn more about the lives of early Harrisburg families like Reily, Boas, McAlister, and Meigs.
Open a Door to Preservation. . .
  Join the Friends as they assist in maintaining Fort Hunter's treasures: the incomparable buildings, Victorian clothing and furnishings, and the artifacts found above and below ground. Future plans to enliven and beautify this site promise more exciting time for the Fort Hunter Park.
Open a Door to Benefits. . .
  Tours of the Mansion are free to members of the Friends. Plus, the Museum Shop offers a 10% Discount on an array of items perfect for collecting or gift giving. Discounted rentals as well as The Chronicler newsletter are also yours with your membership.
 
  Open a Door to Fellowship... As a Friend of Fort Hunter you will have the opportunity to participate in diverse events throughout the year (See our Calendar of Events).  And, wherever your interests lie, there are Friends to share them with you.  Consider becoming a Friend of Fort Hunter, and you'll no doubt make some new friends of your own!
